Bevo Mill

Gravois Avenue (4749)
Klipstein and Rathmann

This enjoyable landmark restaurant began operation in 1917. Brewer August A. Busch developed the idea of a Dutch windmill and commissioned St. Louis architects Klipstein and Rathmann to design a European beer garden.

Bevo Mill was named for a malt beverage that was produced by Anheuser-Busch at the time of the Mill's opening.
