Press Coverage

Guests at the opening of the Canadian pavilion on May 18, 1904 included over one hundred newspaper men and women from Canada.

Canadian architect Lawrence Fennings Taylor designed the Canadian pavilion in the Henry VII Gothic style. It was built in the style of a clubhouse with the aim of making the surroundings comfortable for visitors.  And many visitors did stop to have a picnic lunch on the pavilion's veranda.
