Chinese art and handicrafts were exhibited in the Palace of Liberal Arts.
Many persons were impressed by the marvelous skill of the Chinese artisans found in the vases and woodcarvings. Some of the artifacts shipped to the Fair took two months to reach St. Louis from remote areas of China.
